MEREDITH SLONE, D.D.S

Dr. Slone became interested in dentistry though volunteering at a local hospital clinic while in college. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Cornell University in 1994. She continued her studies at the State University of New York at Buffalo where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1998. She completed two residencies in General Dentistry both at Virtua Hospital in Camden, NJ in 1999 and Abington/Jefferson Hospital in 2000. She has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years and is a member of the dental staff at Abington/Jefferson Health where she assists with dental resident training. In 2007 she started to work for Lakeview just before she had her daughter, Annika. In the fall of 2014, Dr. Slone bought the practice of Lakeview Dental from Dr. Baker. She looks forward to continuing the high standard of care that the patients of the practice have come to expect.

She has been married to her husband, Jim, for 21 years. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to new places.

Dr. Meredith Slone has been selected by her peers to receive the Philadelphia Magazine Top Dentists Award in 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023 – General Dentistry.

MARISSA RUBENSTEIN, D.M.D

Dr. Rubenstein has been part of the Lakeview Dental family since 2021. She also serves as the Program Director at Jefferson Abington’s General Practice Residency, where she dedicates her time to providing advanced clinical education to the dental residents. Dr. Rubenstein received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2018. True to her New Jersey roots, she also graduated cum laude from The College of New Jersey, where she studied chemistry and biology. Dr. Rubenstein comes highly qualified, as she completed dental residencies at both the VA New Jersey Health Care System in 2019 and, more locally, Albert Einstein Medical Center in 2020, where she was chief resident. She is also proficient in Spanish.

Dr. Rubenstein grew up in Central Jersey and lives in Lower Bucks County with her husband, Alex, and their “foster fail” cats. When she is not in the office, she enjoys baking and decorating gluten free cakes. You may also find her rooting for the Eagles and enjoying crabfries at Chickie’s & Pete’s. She is a musical theater fanatic and used to perform in her spare time. Be sure to let her know what your favorite musical is!

CHRISTIAN FRANK, DENTAL ASSISTANT

Chris and his family have been patients with the practice for many years. Chris has worked at Lakeview Dental since 2005. He enjoys spending his time away from the office with his wife, daughter and their golden doodle.

MAUREEN STEVENSON, OFFICE MANAGER

Maureen has been  in the field of dentistry  for 34 years. She resides in Glenside  with her husband, son, and two cats Amber and Bongo. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, cooking, and traveling. Maureen has worked at Lakeview Dental since 2019.

LYNN WALTERS. R.D.H.

Lynn Walters has been a Registered Dental Hygienist with Lakeview Dental since 1988. She obtained her Dental Hygiene Degree from Montgomery County Community College. She later studied Horticultural Therapy at Temple University.  Lynn enjoys being a dental hygienist, providing care, and getting to know the many patients and families of the dental practice. She especially enjoys treating children, individuals with special needs, and patients who are apprehensive about dental care. Creating a pleasant dental experience for these patients gives Lynn great pride as a dental hygienist. She lives in Montgomeryville, and enjoys spending time with her family, her dog and doing yoga.

PAULA RUNOWSKI, R.D.H.

Paula has worked at Lakeview Dental since 2007. A graduate of Montgomery County Community College, she has over 25 years of experience in the dental field. She feels passionately about providing the highest level of periodontal care possible. In her free time likes to spend time with her grandchildren and her Mom. It is very important for Paula to gain her patients’ trust and educate them about good oral health. She especially enjoys working with children.

LIZ CORTEZ, R.D.H.

Liz is a graduate of Harcum College and did her training at the University of Pennsylvania. She has been a hygienist for 20 years. She enjoys relationships she forms with each and every patient. Providing comprehensive dental care is a must! Liz lives in Horsham with her husband and three children. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and taking long walks with her golden retriever, Fletcher.

VICTORIA OLEVSKY, ASSISTANT

Victoria is a rising senior at Temple University studying biology. She plans to attend dental
school starting in Fall 2024. In her free time she likes to stay active and spend quality time with
her family and friends.

ISABELLA MARRONE , ASSISTANT

Isabella attended Thomas Jefferson University. She assists Dr Rubensten. She will attend dental school in the fall of 2024. She enjoys working out and hanging out with friends.

BARBARA SUPLEE, OFFICE RECEPTIONIST

Barbara is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Speech Communications and Business. She has been working at Lakeview since 2015. She is married and has two daughters and two dogs. When she is not working, Barbara loves to spend time at the shore with her family.

JOYCE HUMMEL, OFFICE RECEPTIONIST

Joyce obtained her Bachelor of Science of Allied Health Degree from Saint Frances University, alongwith her license in Radiologic Technology. She enjoys working at the front desk at Lakeview Dental where she has been a patient for many years. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her daughter and bossy poodle, Bear. She also enjoys time spent in Florida with her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
